Nós amamos este lugar tanto que ficamos lá duas vezes! Há muito espaço, um balneário com água corrente e uma área de piquenique com fonte de água. Não há chuveiros e não há muito sinal de telefone. Aparentemente há crocs no rio, mas não vimos nenhum (tenha cuidado!). Nós tentamos pescar ao longo do rio (infelizmente sem sorte) e fomos à praia para assistir ao nascer do sol que foi maravilhoso. É melhor reservar on-line antes de chegar lá - eu acho que é livre para ficar lá por 48 horas.

Stayed last night. Plenty of room. Felt safe. Water, toilets and play equipment for the kids. We did register with Council prior but there’s a QR code on board at entrance. No shops of any kind. Enjoy

It's really great that the town is so friendly and welcoming to campers. The site is very well-maintained and quiet, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, there's no Telstra signal, but there are toilets and trash cans, plenty of picnic tables, and a BBQ. Be sure to reserve in advance.

Free but needs to be booked through Townsville council website. Flushing toilets, fires allowed, drinking water, playground, lots of covered seating, electric bbqs. It's a big space but very popular so still fairly full. Fishing from boat ramp next to camp site or head north along the beach to the gully. Crocs in area, very poor phone signal

We loved staying here! We stayed for two nights - you have to register with the Council however very limited reception on site so recommend doing before arrival :) no noise as its far off the highway big grassy area - might be more crowded on weekends

Ótimo local de acampamento gratuito! Convenientes muito limpos, bbqs e mesas de piquenique. Muito tranquilo e muita vida selvagem como cangurus, pássaros e se tiver sorte crocs. Pouco sinal de telefone dependendo da sua localização (Telstra).
