When I drove out to this place in Nov 25 I found gravel road fine in my 2wd van but couldnt enter campground as had a sloping rutted entry & sign stating 4wd only yet that was not on flyer for campsites I got from tourist office. Luckily I could turn around as tree down over road just after entry. I walked down in the rain to check out grounds: no campers & grass long but fast flowing river was impressive. I hope entry is improved & info centre told as it would be a relaxing place to stay.

Adorei este acampamento. Lugar bonito, rio ao redor, um bom lugar para um mergulho ou um paddle. Estrada longa para entrar, mas muito viável em um 2WD. Sem recepção telefônica, muitas opções de local com lareiras. Adorei aqui

Maravilhoso bem mantido locais de acampamento muitos lugares para que você possa acampar longe dos outros, mas nós tivemos todos os locais para nós mesmos.Signage diz 4wd acesso, mas é uma estrada ondulada todo o caminho super fácil.Se você tomar o seu tempo na estrada, em seguida, facilmente tomar uma caravana todo o caminho até o fim.

Roads reopened again! Amazing spot

The road is closed, cause of the bushfires. Too bad.

Beautiful! We drove a 2WD that is high on it's wheels, so no problems for us while driving the gravel road. Not suitable for every car.. You camp next to the river, allowed to make a little campfire, the stars were so clear and at night we heard the dingo's howling. Real camping!

It’s a real nice place in the middle of nowhere. Take in mind that you have to cross a 14km gravel road what is not suitable for every car....
