Ótimo lugar! Fomos um pouco confusos sobre onde estacionar porque o grande estacionamento perto deste pin tem sinais de "não acampar". Terminamos no estacionamento perto da van de café e foi ótimo. Tinha algumas regras sobre quando você pode estacionar lá (ver foto). O estacionamento estava realmente ocupado por volta da hora do jantar e então vazio por 9pm e muito silencioso. Café delicioso e bolos da van de café pela manhã (após 7am)!

Tivemos uma experiência positiva. É uma grande área da costa onde você pode ficar. Alguns lugares são obviamente marcados, mas alguns você tem que verificar o mapa no site do conselho de Christchurch.

Would recommend parking between Beatty and Sturdee Street, it’s within the free camp zone, has a nice beach access and isn’t too far from the toilets, parking next to them is a bit smelly. Didn’t have any problems with security, just make sure your self contained and don’t leave litter in the dunes as the residents aren’t happy about how previous travellers have left it out

There was a security guy checking all of the vehicles, so despite the comments saying that you’re not allowed to camp, it seems to us it’s fine. It’s a bit noisy, as you’re literally beside the road, but besides that it’s definitely okay. 👍
