Very quiet, older campsite- but toilets were sparkling clean (and seemed quite new). Nice walks around the area, and was well sheltered from the wind! Had running water outside to do our dishes and we had 3 bars of 4G with 2degrees. We booked online, but can pay cash when you get there- booked same day as it was so quiet.

Nice walk around the bay, and had full 4G signal with 2degrees. Probably best for one or two nights, as not much to do but walk/swim- but we enjoyed ourselves.

This campground is such a gem! The views are spectacular. It’s quiet, small and there’s a brand new toilet block. FInding the Pigeon Bay Walkway is difficult to find because private landowners have restricted access — but you just walk all the way past the boat club and it runs along the shore. There’s a sign warning you to stay within 30 metres of the shore or else you will be trespassing. Just climb the fence and walk along the ridge. It’s so special and worth the effort!

Wow what a spot, so peaceful and we were the only ones there. There are many static caravans there but we still had the whole place to ourselves. Very isolated, great for those wanting peace and quiet. Cleanest toilets ever!

Such a beautiful spot to camp for the night! We parked right by the water’s edge and it was really peaceful. There are clean toilets and an outdoor sink. Good phone signal as well. Would really recommend spending a night here!

No water! No electricity!

Lindo lugar tranquilo com uma grande vista, no entanto, sem água corrente no banheiro (embora haja uma banheira) mas havia uma torneira lá fora. sem latas óbvias, então teve que deixar cair o lixo em Akaroa.

Realmente bom local pacífico. Não muito ao redor para fazer além de admirar a vista, então provavelmente bom para uma noite. Boa seleção de pontos sob as árvores pela água. Nós reservamos on-line, mas poderia ter sido mais fácil de aparecer como havia muito espaço. Básico, mas banheiros limpos. Água, mas nenhuma outra facilidade. Se você está em um camper maior ou casa de motor, evitar a estrada do meio e prosseguir para a estrada da baía de pombos, a estrada do meio não é adequada para os campistas, mas não há sinalização afirmando isso no topo.

Meu amigo e eu ficamos lá uma noite e foi incrível! lindo pequeno acampamento. Boa vista da baía e área muito relaxante.
