Impressive wharf with just as Impressive scenery. We jumped off wharf halfway along at ladder which was fun.

Worth a stop, very cool wharf and a great surf spot

If you come in summer look where the locals jump off the wharf, there are ladders to climb back up.

Worth a stop and a stroll.

The wharf is 660 metres long and was built in 1929. Beautiful views and a good spot for fishing. Don’t get caught out by the rain as it’s a long way back to the car.

Google says this is actually NZ’s second longest pier... Worth a stop nonetheless :-)

A lovely walk along the wharf marvelling at the cliffs, water and passion of the local people who keep this historic site going. Thank you!
