Grande área de acampamento com grama de nível suave. Pode ficar preguiçoso após a chuva intensa, mas há terra firme antes da área de grama. Passamos 2 lotes de 3 noites aqui, e no máximo havia 10 outros ficando. Não se esqueça de reservar on-line antes de chegar, não há sinal de telefone.

Great field with sinks and toilets in the middle of nowhere.

Fechado para o inverno! Pulled up ontem, reservado em, nada no site, depois de passar por essa pequena ponte e portas flipping bloqueado! Chamado DOC, depois de conectado Starlink como nenhum sinal de telefone aqui, eles tinham feito um erro permitindo reservas, é oficialmente fechado para o inverno, (aconselhado NZMCA). A ponte! Oy vey! Estamos 14 metros no total, atropelado e levou-me três tentativas haha! Fácil, no entanto, quando está aberto!! Área muito pequena para virar, embora se as portas fechadas, então verifique primeiro! TASMANTRAVELS

É muito bom. Mas um pouco confuso. No site do doc tudo está bem. Na frente do acampamento há um sinal dizendo que está fechado devido a roubo. Mas além disso tudo o resto parece estar bem. Não há absolutamente nenhum sinal. Nós reservamos antes de chegar lá. É tudo grama, então com corrida pesada os pneus não vão ter uma boa aderência.

One of the best camping places, I have had so far because it was so quiet and in the middle of nature. But there is no Internet or signal.

Freshly mown grass and overall the site is very well presented. Despite the size it’s a quiet spot with only a few campers on a Friday night. Not sure why as it’s a beautiful spot. Bit of a hidden gem.

Got there pretty late due to delayed ferry but managed to pull up to a massive site and pitch up our rooftop tent and had a very quiet sleep. Flush toilets and water you can boil. $20 for 2 cash only.

Really beautiful large site. Only 2 other campers there. Flush toilets and running water. Secluded and peaceful. Bird song by day, silent starry skies by night. Soft grass, no mud when we were there mid January.

What a great spot! As described by others… too big an area to get busy, sunny and shady options, nice amenities, beauty river, no prob with bugs. Most birdsong I’ve heard in upper SI.
