Uma vergonha uma cidade como Queenstown tem tão poucas opções de acampamento, sendo que tantas pessoas vivem neste estilo de vida.

Trouble with this spot is that there are only 9 spaces and you can only book in from 8pm. We first arrived at 6pm and all spots were taken except 1 - if you like to play by the rules you would have no chance here its just too popular

Reason for the rules & time restrictions is it’s very frustrating for locals trying to actually use the events centre - getting their kids to afterschool sports etc. and struggling to find a park as there are way too many campers there outside of the designated times, some clearly not self contained & using the grounds like a campground (which it’s not). The events centre is a very busy and well used community facility, so lucky that there are 9x carparks available for overnight camping.

Provavelmente ninguém segue as regras - você deve chegar depois das 8pm mas todo mundo está acampando aqui horas antes, então quando você quer seguir as regras e chegar exatamente às 8pm, você não tem chance de obter nenhum lugar. Há também pessoas acampando sem veículos autônomos. Chegamos às 8pm e pensamos que alguns carros irão sair, então estávamos prestes a esperar perguntamos se eles estavam saindo, mas nos disseram que estavam ficando.

Good place just outside the city. Showers and wifi inside the building (wifi is free). Just have to be early to get a spot. The city officials comes to check the parking lot pretty early in the morning, so watch out if you park in the regular parking lot.
