carros em andamento durante toda a noite e pessoas puxando ao lado do meu carro, embora todo o estacionamento fosse gratuito. Eu estava completamente sozinho como uma viajante feminina solitária e não tinha sinal de telefone. Tive que mudar para um acampamento de liberdade diferente às 2 da noite, porque um carro dirigia círculos de multidão ao redor do estacionamento, parou em cada rodada logo atrás do meu carro e assustou. pior experiência de acampamento e não se sentiu seguro!

Toilet Out of order No internet signal Nice beach but we didn’t sleep in this place

A constant stream of cars going back and forth all night, hiding behind a specific tree looking for something specific? You never know. It was really scary for a solo woman; I didn't sleep a wink, I was alone at the campsite. Especially since a car decided to park right next to me at 3 a.m., as if trying to force me out (there were no other cars and plenty of space). Anyway… avoid it.

Nice location, safe from the wind and quiet. 3 campervan seats and 1 for tents. Separated from small hills that leaves a very pleasant privacy during a quiet night by the sea. Toilets, tap and toilet papers on site. No telephone reception. Beautiful beach against the bottom!

Beautiful beach and cliffs at sunset. Level pitch and very quiet night. Great views of Mt Taranaki on the road in. Toilets good but as others have said, take a torch!

We pulled in at 4:30pm and saw 6 campervans. We didn’t want to break the rules so moved on. Beautiful site though.

Nice spot by the beach, didn’t feel spooky. There was no service, the toilets where clean but dark so take a head torch even in the day. The sign says 3 vehicles max, but there is space for a few more.

We travelled as a couple with a dog, in winter, maybe that made a difference... We were a bit spooked and unsure if going to this spot because of the previous reviews.. but we still tried it out and it has been fine with us. We arrived at 8pm, maybe 2 cars drove in&out around at 9/10pm, but nothing else "weird". Friendly walkers the next morning. No phone signal.

Belo pôr-do-sol na praia de areia preta, mas sem sinal telefônico. Os banheiros estavam abertos quando chegamos, mas eles estavam trancados por 7:30 pm e ainda não estavam abertos por 8h da manhã seguinte.. Diz auto contida aqui, mas há um pedaço de grama com um sinal para veículos não auto contidos, então nós puxamos aqui em nossa van de dormir e não tivemos problemas. ótimo lugar se você estiver indo para Egmont no dia seguinte. Chegamos lá por volta das 5h para o nosso lugar e alguns carros apareceram, mas tiveram que sair como estava cheio
