Excelente localização. estacionamento direto na praia e lojas nas proximidades

Awesome site with great access to beach and sun set. Max of 2 campers, but doesnt seem like anyone checks - we were more for the night. Toilets 5 min walk away, very nice and clean. Close to road with a fair amount of traffic, but does die down in the evening. Lots of locals stopping for sorter amount of time to walk dogs or enjoy the view.

Maximum of 2 self contained vehicles, although another 2 arrived and didn’t have any issues. Toilets about a 1k walk away and they shut at 8pm in the evening. Felt safe here as a solo traveller, some road noise but to be expected and the view was definitely worth it! Recommend stopping here if visiting Kapiti Island.

Handy spot for a one night stop over. Pulled into here on a very windy night. Toilets nearby. There is a homeless lady that sleeps in her car in the parking lot.

Vista incrível se o pôr-do-sol sair da parte de trás se você voltar para o espaço. lugares muito limitados, apenas 2 por estacionamento de carro para ter que chegar lá cedo, embora três outras furgonetas ficaram e parecia ser bom. 10 min a pé para os banheiros públicos, que fechou em algum momento da noite (possível 8/9pm?).

31 de janeiro de 2024 Estão no campo desde as 3:30 pm. Há apenas 2 lugares designados para campistas. Tivemos sorte de usar um deles. Mas há vários campistas aqui.

Lovely view out to the island in this little car park where freedom camping is permitted! Sign says a max of 2 vans, but we ended up with maybe 5? Hard to know if it's checked as the next park up had at least 5-8 when we arrived at 7pm! Toilets are a walk away by the playground and are locked from about 8pm till 6am in summer. May be flexible though so don't go at 7:59pm! Flat gravel sites with plenty of signal. This bay doesn't have a footpath between you and the view so seems nicer. Keep it clean, keep it free! Great spot. Its 3 parkings with front vieuw of the beach. Nr 3 is the largest. 2 overnight spots avaible, but a lot more vehicles showed up during evening. Toilets 6 minutes walk. Also bbq, shower (cold) and playground. Cafés and restaurants close. Great stay before visiting kapiti island
