Flat grassy sites by a beautiful river. There are some picnic tables but not at every site and sites aren’t marked out. The Visitor Center is right across the street and you can walk to the model dam. Many people swimming and enjoying the river right next to the campground, which you can hear flowing but can’t see because there are trees between it and river. The pit toilet was fine and the toilets by the Visitor Center were open during the day. Peaceful and pleasant DOC site! Good Spark signal.

Eu reservei on-line no DOC Campsite, a reserva foi confirmada, eu cheguei e o portão está fechado, eu acho que é inverno e está fechado ? Mas eu ainda consegui reservar on-line ! É hora da noite e eu não sei para onde ir... Perfeito !

Great place to stay. close to the river. toilets are long drop but perfectly basic camp. lots of picnic tables around to use. Highly recommend. go up to the visitors centre to make payment which is just up the road. Easy peasy.

I was here 29 Nov 2022 and it was shut, the gate was locked. Looked like a nice spot though!

Loved it. Beautiful spot. If you walk over to the visitor center you have some very decent toilets as well

Nice spot at the river. Long drop clean, but smelly because noob campers kept shutting the door. Ground already getting too wet.

A great spot to get away from home. Currently well maintained with recycling for rubbish, and toilets.
