Depois de 30 minutos de telefonema com uma pessoa encantadora no conselho da cidade de Auckland, parques e lazer, ela me ajudou a fazer a reserva e me falou através de seu site. Existem 2 SCC sites, 1 temporada de verão e 1 inverno, o último sendo atrás do HQ bldg, o primeiro uma área gravelada nos apartamentos perto do Blackberry Flat Camp. Verifique o mapa ARP (via link sob 'Contact') para a localização da temporada de verão. Sem sinalização! Sistema de reserva um PITA e cada pax ARP lhe dirá algo diferente. Gen up antes de você ligar. Persevere. ? ~ Puriri Grove caminhar & Waharau Bush caminhar muito vale a pena. O parque é um crédito para o pessoal.

This is the parking lot behind the information center. Take the little road to the left hand side. There is no signage indicating you can camp there and no one on the phone at the reservation line has ANY clue where to find it. But this is it. Small quiet gravel parking lot next to cow pasture with water tap and clean bathrooms. As a note: Reservation system is absolutely miserable. Worst way to pay for a campsite of any I have experienced in NZ.

Nothing is indicated for the winter. Super clean toilet place and plenty of space then an open space available. Cool !

Excellent place to spend a couple of days - good walking tracks (short to long trips), quiet, lovely and a very pleasant place.

Beautiful area well maintained grounds. Not very clear on where you can park, astonished that it was deserted when the very average top 10 campground further down the road was full. The lack of people gave it an eerie feeling, couldn't help but think that it is a very under utilised resource maybe this is because the lack of clarity on the booking and payments (the same can be said for the other regional park campgrounds in the area).
