Best campsite so far. Hot showers with very strong water pressure. Everything is very clean. Large, well-equipped kitchen area with refrigerator, freezer, and oven.

Three beautiful campgrounds with views of the sea. The kitchen is also great. The owner is very arranging and borrowed us pellet to go to make our hole in the sand. He also provides kayak. Of course our best campsite on the North Island.

Nice little campground. Owner lives on site. So no issues with noise. Feel safe and sound. Free spades for hot water beach.

Honestly, as a woman traveling alone, go for it without hesitation. Everything is clean, the people are friendly, and the view is incredible. If you ask, the owner will tell you exactly what time to go to the hot water beach and will even provide you with a shovel. It's a peaceful and amazing place!

This campsite is by far the best we've stayed at during our six-week New Zealand vacation. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. At $40 including electricity for a two-person campervan, the price is absolutely fair. There are free kayaks available for exploring the inlet. On our first evening, we were even treated to fresh smoked fish he had caught that day. The site is quiet and just a five-minute drive from Hot Water Beach, where free shovels are also provided. Highly recommended!

The owner was at a birthday party and the place was actually fully booked, but after a quick phone call, I was able to stay. The kitchen was superbly equipped, there was a lounge, and a toilet.

$20 per person, facing the sea. Toilets, hot showers, Wi-Fi and even a jacuzzi!! Kitchen with toaster, oven, microwave, kettle... The best paid campsite we've been to.

Nós absolutamente amamos este lugar. O anfitrião e sua companheira eram tão amigáveis e hospitaleiros. Eles pegaram um monte de snapper e o compartilharam com todos. Fresco e fumado 😋 O acampamento era espaçoso, plano e aconchegante com vistas à beira-mar. Kawhia é uma linda pequena cidade cheia de história com um pequeno museu à beira-mar e porto. O dia de Waitangi no parque foi realmente doce com todos os moradores locais saindo para alguns cais incríveis. 👌 Kawhia foi o nosso primeiro acampamento em nossa viagem, e definitivamente o melhor.

A vista é incrível a partir da maioria dos locais. As instalações são rústicas Hooks faltando nos banheiros, banheiros pulverizam água em todos os lugares. Somente capaz de molhar uma mão de cada vez Banheiros sobrecarregados, churrascos são sujos, inutilizáveis. Cozinha suja. Não muito em Kawhia. Sentiu-se como se estivéssemos no filme Deliverance. Compre supermercados antes de chegar lá. Tudo fechado às segundas-feiras. O proprietário anda ao redor oferecendo peixe ppl que ele tem pego, que é um caiaque lindo e gratuito. A vista é ótima
