We booked for two nights, and due to Cyclone Vaianu, we parked at the foot of the house rather than on the lawn, but it didn't bother us at all. The hosts were incredibly welcoming; they let us charge our phones and portable power bank in their garage, and they even offered us a shower and Wi-Fi. We didn't dare ask for Wi-Fi after such kindness! 😅 The surrounding area is beautiful and lush; we loved it and highly recommend the location.

Don't drive up the drive! The camping garden (it's too nice to say field) is the next gate at the very end of the road. It's a lovely spot, quiet and peaceful and reasonably flat. There aren't pitches as such, just start where you want. It is what it says it is, a haven just outside the city with no facilities whatsoever but so much nicer than an urban carpark. Thanks for making this available!

I stayed here last night, and I couldn't wait to write about it. So, I'm writing this before I leave. A sanctuary it certainly is! The wonderful couple and their little one were so friendly and welcoming. I'm so grateful to find such a peaceful spot so close to the city. Parked up near the stream, I fell asleep to the beautiful surrounding sounds of nature, and slept so well! Thank you so much for sharing such an idealic space!

I pulled up to the driveway in my 6m van. 3m tall. Was not going to attempt it. Decided to let booking go. Photo looks way better.

Com toda a vida selvagem ao nosso redor - fantasias, silvereyes na figueira, atum no rio, e morepork hooting & gritando ao entardecer - e o ambiente de jardim tranquilo, foi difícil acreditar que estávamos no meio de uma cidade movimentada. altamente recomendado.

Um enorme obrigado a Tuk que foi super bonito e generoso! Esta área é SUPERB e é um lugar tão bom para puxar para uma noite ou 2! Poderia ser o meu lugar favorito para toda a nossa viagem! Infelizmente o chão ainda estava um pouco molhado, então nós configuramos na estrada, mas caminhando para o rio apenas no pôr-do-sol é uma experiência tão bonita! 10/10 lugar! 110/10 anfitriões! Lugar incrível para ficar. Tal anfitrião amigável. Vamos usar suas bicicletas na tarde para ir ver a cidade. Tem alguns cachorros de estimação legal que ele cuida e é um lugar muito tranquilo.
