Currently the toilet block is out of order - there's no running water. The closure is not well signed and the block is accessible which means the toilets are full and can't be flushed! Pretty grim and not ideal since we're not self contained. If you dont need a toilet, its a lovely spot with a 15 min walk to the gorge, some benches and bins. Super quiet with very little passing traffic.

Great free camp with basic amenities - flushing toilets and picnic tables. It gets busy during the day but quiet at night. We enjoyed staying here with our self-contained caravan.

Great quiet spot in the trees next to the river. We had it to ourselves so it was beautiful. **Attentoon - all the toilets were out of order when we were here**

It's a good little campground in the moddle of the forest and close to the river. It was really quiet, only 1 person there and the toilets are old but really clean. Theres sheltered picnic tables. But no telstra connection

Acesta este un loc frumos, liniștit pentru a petrece o seară cu facilități de toaletă de bază care sunt suficient de curate. Ne imaginăm că lucrurile ar putea fi un pic mai ocupat în sezonul aglomerat de câteva săptămâni de acum înainte. O plimbare de 15 minute de la site-ul vă duce prin tufișul de-a lungul râului și înapoi la site-ul de lângă râu peste pod. Aceasta este o pauză perfectă atunci când conduceți între Strahan și Wynyard așa cum am fost. Rețineți că nu există absolut nici un semnal mobil - voce sau date.

O mare oprire liniștită, are toalete spălate și mese de picnic mici protejate. Nici iluminare nicăieri. Locuri limitate, dar există site-uri informale de-a lungul drumului printre păduri dacă devine ocupat.

Loc minunat lângă o plajă frumoasă. fără lumini în toalete. liniștită și îndepărtată.

Amazing spot. We only stopped for tomato and peanut butter sandwiches but decided to stay the night.

Only one (or two ) standalone sites. Beautiful setting along the prettiest short trail to the nearby bridge & 10 to 15 minutes walk along the forested brook / river and back. A super stop or stay. Hygiene consideration:- Loos / dunny is clean.

Arrive at 9:30pm at night, there are no street lights and it is dark to go to the external toilets. You need to bring your own lighting equipment. At night, remember not to open the door for too long and there will be light-tending bugs running in. The peaceful forest is suitable for sleeping. It is a good free camp! (I am a friend from Taiwan)
