A little spooky at night but nice, access road bumpy, narrow but good for not too big vehicles. No signal

Acest loc a fost plin de familii cu copii la începutul lunii ianuarie (probabil cel mai ocupat timp pentru a vizita), așa că am renunțat la parcare, din păcate, dar arăta bine și mulți au mers să înoate în lac.

Cel mai bun loc din Tasmania.Dacă găsești un loc mai bun, mă duc la mare.

Vedere frumoasă dimineața și noaptea. Asigurați-vă că aduceți repelente de țânțari sau spray-uri.

Beautiful view on the lake, different areas but not plenty of sites. In the nature, quiet, beautiful

So this place isn’t the best signed - but if you’re travelling up from the south, once you get off the corner just leaving the lake view you can see a gravel paved road off to the right - take it. I would only recommend for self contained vehicles as a) it’s cold as hell b) no amenities c) with how dense and moist the area is unless you have your own timber it can be hard to get the fallen branches to light for wood. Overall, gorgeous little secret(ish) spot. Would be easy to take any large vehicle down, the road was good condition.. Just a little overgrown on the sides so if your vehicle is extra wide beware.

Free, really good road, biutifull view, fire ok. Not so much place but was not busy.

Great place to stay for the night, potholes have been filled in, flies are pretty relentless during the day but were fine when we got there in the afternoon.

Really peaceful and beautiful area and I would recommend staying. But swarmed by flies! You wouldn’t be able to eat or drink outside in peace. Quite a few potholes on the way down as advertised on other comments. Great for a free campsite, would recommend self contained vehicles only.
