We wanted to stay here but when we arrived it looked like an abandoned trailerpark. A lot of old campers with the curtains closed standing side by side. It was raining and we thought it was a bit spookey so did not stay here. We stayed at the campground next to this one (great stay!) And while we stayed there, we saw 2 other vans drive up to the other campground and turn around as well.

We went to the first campsite on this road...Mac Gregor and it was nice! The lake was nice and there are clean toilets. There is no drinking water only rainwater. We walked the track that started 2 km away from the campsite and it was beautiful.

Lovely drive to and location by the lake. Very nice lady on site cleaning the loos but we didn’t need to use them as we are self contained. Not expensive for the location , very quiet, chilled vibe and peaceful and great breakfast on picnic bench overlooking the water. Very easy to get to and so much better than the freedom site on the road just outside Tekapo which looked souless. No issue or even aware of permanent residents who are in a different section. We did have phone signal.

Avoid at all costs! $15 per person for absolutely no services, just a dry toilet with no toilet paper, no water, no showers, no internet connection. It's just a parking lot; the only positive point is the nice view of the small lake.

Very quiet and peacful but not spooky, beautiful view. Basic toilets, no water, some light in the toilets during night. Awesom place when you want get away from the busy Lake Tekapo. No cellular receiption

Vibe ciudat, părea să fie doar câteva locuri pentru a parca. Viziune frumoasă, foarte liniștită. Vibe foarte ciudat cu rezidenți permanenți și caravane. Aproape simțiți nedorit acolo. Loc bun pentru a vedea și merită să verificați. Nu era vibe-ul meu, dar. Simțit dacă am făcut un zgomot sau ceva greșit, aș fi aruncat.

Ce loc minunat unde să stați, departe de turbulența Lacului Tekapo! Am petrecut o noapte în acest loc uimitor, sub un cer de noapte frumos. Am fost complet singuri. Atât de pașnic, pentru doar 20$. Ne-a plăcut ! Toaletele sunt fine și curate, cu hârtie igienică furnizată.

Loc minunat cu o vedere frumoasă la lac. După cum alții au menționat acest lucru este de fapt lac McGregor camping. Câteva caravane permanente pe site-ul, dar o mulțime de spațiu pentru camperi cu locuri de grajd destul de nivel. Toalete sunt destul de bune pentru drop loos și sanitar de mână este disponibil, aveți nevoie pentru a aduce propriul loo roll, deși. Veți avea nevoie de numerar pentru caseta de onestitate, la $ 10 pe cap a fost mai bună valoare decât cele mai multe site-uri DOC am rămas la și mult mai frumos imo.

Am ajuns aici mai târziu în timpul zilei și încă o mulțime de spațiu! Vedere fantastică a lacului și stele uimitoare pe timp de noapte! Slăbiciunile sunt mirositoare și aveți nevoie de propriul dvs. Loa Roll. Dar există apă pentru spălare etc. Nu pentru băut. Există rezidenți permanenți, dar ei sunt în afara site-ului de camping nu aproape de ei. Fiecare loc are o vedere mare foarte recomandat!
