A truly beautiful location, right on the lake, with plenty of space and a fantastic view. Absolutely fantastic. The owner is very warm and welcoming. The glowworms nearby are fascinating. The toilets and showers are clean, so no problem. We had no major problems getting there with our campervan (3.60 m wide and 7.80 m long). It is quite narrow for about 800 meters, though, so it's a good idea to call ahead to avoid oncoming traffic.

Pe drumul nostru spre camping, am descoperit că drumul era închis și nu s-a mai redeschis încă trei ore. După ce am contactat campingul pentru a anula rezervarea noastră, nu ne-au oferit nicio asistență. Recepționarul nu a avut nici o intenție de a anula rezervarea și a fost complet neplăcut. Am trebuit să așteptăm undeva până când drumul s-a redeschis. Din fericire, am găsit un alt camping.

Locație fantastică, totuși blocul de toaletă și într-o măsură mai mică blocul de duș a fost murdar. Am rămas timp de trei nopți, la sosire toaleta și blocurile de duș au fost murdare. O tencuială folosită a fost pe urinar, când am plecat era încă acolo, nici un efort pentru a curăța în timp ce în timpul șederii noastre. Se numește un Eco Village, asta înseamnă că nu folosesc produse de curățare sau apă?

Beautifully placed. Friendly staff. A couple of nice walks. And beautiful place to just sit and breath. And swim. And see glowworms. 2 things: 1. The gravel road down there is very narrow. 2. If you request an unpowered site for your campervan, remember to state in your booking that tou sleep in your vehicle and not in a tent.

Beautifully located and isolated campsite. Glowworms and phosphorescent algae in the water made the place feel magical. The road there is pretty rough, and I would not go here in a large motorhome. It was a bit hard to find a level spot for the van. Hot showers were $2 for 4 minutes and coins could be bought at the dairy onsite. Showers could use a cleaning but was functional and the water was hot. The lack of shiny new facilities was 100% made up for by the atmosphere at this campsite

Un camping frumos cu proprietari foarte prietenoși. Puteți închiria kayaks și SUP-uri și, cu puțin noroc, puteți vedea stingrays. Noaptea, apa strălucește și există nenumărate fluturi. Pentru noi, unul dintre cele mai magice locuri din Noua Zeelandă.

The view is amazing , but we spent the night there with our camper van and the road is very challenging for a big van. The toilets and showers are disgusting and even the kitchen was during not clean in the evening. It is ok if you are staying one night but not recommendale for longer stays.

Lovely setting and welcoming owners. Showers/ toilets/ kitchen all clean. Kayaking around the bay in the day was great and the glow worms and Phosphorescence waters was a real highlight to our trip.
