Am ajuns la ora 8:30 și încă mai erau multe locuri disponibile. Drumul era aprins, așa că am putut să luăm drumul de grătar fără probleme. Toaletele sunt la stația de benzină din apropiere. Nu există probleme în timpul nopții.

Plenty of spaces, but was busy by the time we arrived. Sheltered from the main road, careful if you arrive in the dark as the ground is pretty uneven in places. Good cafe onsite which opens at 0800.

Great place to stop over. Plenty of parking on grass if carpark area is full. Nice quite spot behind the museum, which opens early with friendly staff serving up great coffee and food.

Toilet with code, impossible to use

Frumos spațiu mare și foarte răcoros. Te simți îndepărtat în spatele muzeului militar și sunt de fapt înconjurat de natură de cealaltă parte. Loc bun pentru a opri peste ca este destul de liniștit și o mulțime de benzinării. toalete publice este toate la doar câteva minute de mers pe jos. semnalul telefonului a fost disponibil la niveluri decente.

Ușor de parcat oriunde pe iarbă în zona de camping libertate, toalete publice foarte curate lângă benzinărie.

Great spot with toilets not too far across the road. Didn't go to the museum but I would stop by and try it out on my way back through. Great location for exploring Tongariro Nat Park and Lord of the Rings locations

Not the most cosy location but good for one night. I was there with a few other campers. Quiet. Toilers are across the street next to Caltex. The one on the site ate locked (from the museum).

Good location with a great mountain view. There are toilets, but it's a bit noisy with the train and road nearby.
