Great camping. Enough space on Saturday night in March. Powered and unpowered available. Spacious set up. Shower and toilet building is old but reasonably clean. Kitchen is also old but nice and very clean. Everything available. You hear still some noise from the road during the day but snachts especially the river. We paid 38 dollars for 1 night unpowered. Good phone signal and with the kitchen is wifi.

Good phone signal and loads of space on a Friday night in March, I stayed here after exploring the Kakahi Grotto glow worms. (Absolutely worth the detour!). A nice and tidy site with basic amenities, I phoned to check-in at 10pm, but I'm not even sure they'd have needed that as I paid online. Heads up strict checkout at 10am, or you're charged extra 10$/hour. Other than that would absolutely recommend :)

This is a nice camp, doesn't deserve bad reviews. Yes, you phone to say you there, a pleasant young lady says to pick your site & comes to you later for payment, with eftpos machine. The 2 showers have been retiled & no water timer. Toilet room old but common in NZ. Kitchen is fine. The rates are very reasonable at only $26.50 for power & $22.50 non power per person.

Worthwhile river loop walk with some spectacular trees. However, the camping ground is poorly maintained. There was no one on reception, we had to contact by phone to check in. Power connection was no problem. Great shower pressure and super hot water but toilets were sub-standard. The kitchen looked well appointed but the toaster we used only had two out of four elements working. Overall, lots of potential but badly in need of some well overdue maintenance and love and attention. Poor value.

Lots of Tui in the trees. Small bush walk at the back and river in front of the site. Hot showers, Kitchen, BBQ and bathrooms and laundry.

Stai departe de acest camping. Oaspeții sunt tratați ca murdărie. Recepția nu este niciodată deschisă și acceptă doar numerar. Am vrut să ne prelungim șederea pentru o altă noapte, dar doamna a fost destul de supărat că am fost acolo pentru a plăti. Deoarece am vorbit încă cu alți călători în bucătărie după check-out, ea ne-a amenințat să ne perceapă încă 20 $ pe persoană. A fost o greșeală să stai aici.

Sosit târziu (aproximativ 20:15), recepția a fost închisă, în discreția a spus că se închide la 21:30. Plătit în numerar și a fost spus să respecte cu strictețe timpul de plată, dacă nu $ 10 pp pe oră suplimentară. A fost un pic nefericit. Dușurile sunt calde, dar standurile nu sunt foarte curate (murdărie / păr) și limitate în îmbrăcat. (Puteți folosi un scaun din plastic / scaun). Rezumat: un pic scump pentru ceea ce obțineți și nu foarte prietenos irt checkout.

Loc minunat cu dușuri și spălătorie. Pe un râu, dar se face zgomot de drumuri și trenuri.

chiar lângă un râu puteți lua o scufundare plăcută:) a venit fără o rezervare în jurul orei 5:30 și a avut o mulțime de spațiu. bucătărie, baie & spălătorie a fost curat și bun. am rămas o noapte pentru a ajunge la turul mondial uitat, care a fost perfect ca este o distanță de 5 minute de mers cu mașina!

Tot ce ai nevoie este o baie frumoasă și curată.
