Bine pentru a ajunge la 2WD în cazul în care vremea a fost uscată, nu am avut probleme într-un Mitsubishi L300 și un hatchback Toyota a apărut atunci când am fost acolo. Doar verificați vremea pentru a vă asigura că nu există nici o previziune de ploaie grea pentru atunci când sunteți acolo. spălarea toaletele deschise în timpul verii. O mulțime de fluturi care au fost enervante, dar tolerabile cu protecție și repelent. Semnal foarte limitat de telefon, dacă norocos, sau nimic deloc.

Vedere frumoasă, o mulțime de fluturi de nisip, mai ales pe drumul lung.

Am traversat câteva forturi, dar cu 3 minute înainte de tabără era unul mai adânc, unde ne-am speriat, ne-am întors la Lacul de diamante.

Fords were too deep to cross. Camp for free at Diamond Lake instead.

Nice view but too much sandflies and bumblebees…

Visited on 10th June 2020, and the road has been washed away just before the campsite. Can drive around but only in 4wd. Streams were passable after not much rain for a few days. I had to park up about 500m short of campsite and walk. Still made it that far in a 2wd camper, but bouncy in places.

A beautiful place at the end of the world. Several mice came into the van at night.

5 days later and i still can’t walk from all the sandfly bites i got on my feet. Also part of the walking track was closed due to flooding. Flush toilets closed due to draught, dump toilet full of sandflies just waiting to get at ya. Long drive, with loads of rivercrossing. All in all would not recommend. It is beautiful and secluded, though.

A super nice place. Unfortunately, he is currently not reachable by camper. We walked there for 1 hour.

We drove up from Diamond Lake just south of Paradise in our campervan to visit this spot in late June. Very pretty, peaceful drive. Not much rain or snow in the days before we got there so the fords were passable. They are repairing the road so it is a bit rough in spots for a van, but drivable if you go slow. Be warned, there were a decent amount of sandflies here in 4C and with frost on the ground. It will be much worse in summer!
