Great views but only place for 4-5 campers. Be careful not parking 30cm outside the signals, they're going to find you and fine you, even at 2:30 am. 400$NZ specificaly.

Loc absolut minunat, dar se umple înainte de ora 18:00, am ajuns acolo la 5 în prima zi și cele 3 spații au fost luate, așa că am plecat mai devreme a doua zi.

Sistemul care vă spune dacă spațiile sunt disponibile nu funcționează; din păcate, am mers și au fost luate toate.

Loc foarte frumos pe lac. Vedere superbă, răsărit de soare frumos.- și apusul soarelui. Din păcate, există doar 3 locuri. Am fost norocoși să obținem unul. Sistemul de rezervare nu este destul de matur. Deci are sens să nu vină atât de târziu. În august acum, probabil, nici o problemă. Nici o toaletă în apropiere!!!

People do not respect the 6pm arrival time. Do a drive by earlier 5:30-5:45 and check for campers. If those campers are there at 6pm call the council on +64 3 443 7243 and report them. $400 fine for not adhering to the rules.

Do NOT waste your time going here. Even though the online status will say all 3 locations are available, you will show up and all spots will be taken by small vans that may or may not be self contained. Also, there is no reason for this campsite to only be 3 spots. There is a ton of room in the area.

There is a public bathroom at 600 meters. At 21 hs a private truck came to the screams and badly spoken to throw out those who were outside the 3 designated places.

It is meant to be for self contained vans but gets hugged by small vans with a self contained sticker on them which are not self contained well before the check in time and council does nothing about it. Don’t waste your time.
