The spot itself is good. Nice view over the lake and a working toilet (without paper, bring your own). Unfortunately we were harassed by the kids with the water filled balloons as well. Thx for the warning. Still, wasn’t very nice. We decided to stay, they came twice as well with an hour pause in between. Not a very relaxing stay for us though the rest of the night was quiet.

Toaleta este fixată, iar locul este frumos. Apa a avut un gust ciudat (același ca și la stația de gunoi) și a fost foarte vânt. Cu toate acestea, în jurul orei nouă seara, un grup de aproximativ șase copii s-au plictisit și au început să atace cu baloane de apă și să bată pe mașină. După a doua rundă de antichități, am decis să mă mut la parcul Opunake Recreation Ground din centrul orașului, unde era liniștit.

The toilet is still under construction, so right now it's not a very comfortable place to spend the night.

The toilet was demolished on 23rd Feb 2026 and is currently being rebuilt.

A lovely, quiet spot right by the lake and not far from the beach. The toilet had no light, but it was clean and in good condition. The internet was also good. According to the sign, there are six pitches, not just three.

Chill place to stop next to a lake with duckies and so on. Houses about so you feel safe as. Walk down to the beach in 10 min. Rhe pub 5 min walk a great place to hang with locals. Super friendly. Get some!

Great place for NSC enjoyed my stay

Loc foarte bun pentru camping liber, toalete curate și apă potabilă.

Un loc minunat pentru NSC chiar lângă lac. Toaleta cu flush avea toaletă, dar nu avea săpun sau lumină și era și o fântână de apă.
