Un loc minunat pentru a petrece noaptea! Un pic zgomotos când am ajuns în jurul orei 4pm dar apoi a fost liniștit.

The spot looks different to the pictures. It's more a kind of a roundabout close to the mainroad. UnfortunatelyI can't upload any photos but if you check on google maps you will see. The road was a bit busy during the day but quiet in the night. Toilet were very dirty. Only 4 spots available. But nice grass, old treea ans picnic areas available.

Great place to stay for the night. Only room for 4-5 vans (if people park properly). We were the first to get there at 5 and it filled up quickly. Some people stayed in the parking lot not in the designated spots and didn’t seem to have a problem. Very nice river right next to it, great for swimming. One bathroom which was in fine condition. Beautiful grassy lawn, big trees, bird song, picnic tables. We were very happy to have found this spot.

Loc bun. Doar ai grijă, doar sloturile de pe partea dreaptă sunt pentru auto-conținut. Ranger a fost acolo la 7 dimineața.

Acesta este un loc de libertate minunat chiar lângă un râu curat și un pub. Există o toaletă foarte curată, bine întreținută. Locul de libertate se poate potrivi cu plăcere 4 vanuri / campinguri de dimensiuni medii sau 5 mai mici. Am sosit la miezul săptămânii la ora 4 și a existat loc pentru un alt van care a fost luat o oră mai târziu și apoi la 4 vehicule a fost umplut.

Am ajuns în jurul orei 18:00 vineri (de asemenea, o sărbătoare publică) și încă mai era loc pentru aproximativ 3 vans. Baia este curată. Nu există apă. Râul este frumos și există o zonă mare de iarbă pentru a se agăța. Era liniștit noaptea.

Official space is for just 5-6 smaller vans crammed in side-by-side. Probably need to be early to claim one. We missed out (6pm Tuesday early feb). Looks like a nice good spot with a river swim and pub nearby. Nothing else free nearby: must go to Whitianga, or pay ~$85 for an unpowered site at either Hahei Resort campground or Hot Water beach paid camps.

Our first freedom camping experience and it was a great spot! The stream was great for swimming, the pub across the bridge was really good and the drop toilets weren’t offensive at all. Would recommend this spot.

Nice place with the river and picnic tables. There is a toilet, but it smells really, really bad. Lots of cars and truck stopping by to use the toilet in the evening, but calm at night.

Really nice place to stay! There is no water, but at least there is a toilet.
