Odată ce înțelegeți cum să rezervați, este ușor. Locul este frumos, sunt toate singur, toaletele sunt în regulă!

După 30 de minute de apel telefonic cu o persoană drăguță la Consiliul orașului Auckland, parcuri și recreere, ea m-a ajutat să fac rezervarea și mi-a vorbit prin intermediul site-ului lor. Toaletele au fost curate, câinii de rangers au fost foarte entuziasmați și tuis-urile au fost în zbor. Parcat pe o zonă plană în spatele clădirii principale, din păcate fără vedere, dar liniștită.

Există 2 site-uri SCC, 1 sezon de vară și 1 iarnă, acesta din urmă fiind în spatele HQ bldg, primul o zonă gravată în jos pe apartamentele din apropierea Blackberry Flat Camp. Verificați harta ARP (prin link-ul de sub "Contact") pentru locația sezonului de vară. Nici o semnalizare! Sistemul de rezervare un PITA și fiecare pax ARP vă va spune ceva diferit. Gen up înainte de a apela. Persevere. ? ~ Puriri Grove mers pe jos & Waharau Bush mers pe jos foarte demn. Parcul este un credit pentru personal.

This is the parking lot behind the information center. Take the little road to the left hand side. There is no signage indicating you can camp there and no one on the phone at the reservation line has ANY clue where to find it. But this is it. Small quiet gravel parking lot next to cow pasture with water tap and clean bathrooms. As a note: Reservation system is absolutely miserable. Worst way to pay for a campsite of any I have experienced in NZ.

Nothing is indicated for the winter. Super clean toilet place and plenty of space then an open space available. Cool !

Excellent place to spend a couple of days - good walking tracks (short to long trips), quiet, lovely and a very pleasant place.

Beautiful area well maintained grounds. Not very clear on where you can park, astonished that it was deserted when the very average top 10 campground further down the road was full. The lack of people gave it an eerie feeling, couldn't help but think that it is a very under utilised resource maybe this is because the lack of clarity on the booking and payments (the same can be said for the other regional park campgrounds in the area).
