Very nice spot to stay over night.The boat operation person is the sc inspector from 9 30 am till 5 pm a nice bloke

A few vans already there. Plenty space. Not all level. Handy for the river cruise in the morning. Lots of flying insects. Toilet v basic but does the job.

Definitely worth to stop and have a short walk to the lookout. Great blue springs with lovely tui singing.

Very interesting to see, and it is also the location where the barrel scene from The Hobbit was filmed:)

Spills at 10am, 12pm and 2pm at the moment. Spectacular.

Beautiful dam with a nice color of water. Water release schedule: 10 am/12am (moon) / 2pm / 4pm
