Extremely friendly welcome, good clean facilities and access to the beautiful lake walk right from the site.

Great little camp ground for passing through. Dave and Carol were two of the loveliest people we've met in NZ. The park is basic, super clean and close to town. $25 per person for a powered site just rolled in before 7pm and they has us sorted in no time. Wifi was fine. Laundry was cheap and clean as.

We didn't enjoy it. 65 dollars for powdered site. The kitchen closes at 20:30 which is super early and not comfortable. Poor wifi, barley worked. And the biggest minus - a huge street light in the middle of the sites that stayed on all night and flooded our van with light. The owners are all around, you see them all the time and it's a little bit disturb, it feels like they're watching your ways and checking if you following the rules. Facilities are clean and location is good.

Dave & Carol are lovely hosts. A clean, well maintained site. Beautiful walk round lake. Recommended.

Not everyone's favourite town but deffo one of the best camp sites in Waikato. Good untimed showers, friendly hosts, clean facilities. Beautiful spot right on Lake Hakanoa which has a track running right around it, perfect for walking, running, cycling. Secure gated entrance, it's not expensive and close to Hamilton and The Amazing Hamilton Gardens. You can make a booking over the phone. One of the photos has site numbers so you know where to park.

Very blunt on the phone told her our arrival time would be just after 7 she said she closes at 7 so good luck 😂😂 rang back and asked could we pay over the phone and self check in as we’ll be arriving closer to 7.30. No we close at 7 o’clock 😂😂 poor effort in fairness

Am părăsit un loc la sud-vest de Huntly, deoarece nu m-am simțit în siguranță am sosit după ora 7 am m-am întors pe stradă când am fost abordat de un cuplu prietenos întrebându-mă dacă eram în regulă. le-am spus despre experiența mea. S-a dovedit că Dave și Carol unde de pe terenul de tabără, mi-au ajutat, am fost atât de recunoscător pentru ajutorul lor. Camping-ul este într-adevăr frumos, facilități foarte curate cu o vedere frumoasă la lac. Vă rugăm să sprijiniți acest cuplu minunat și asigurați-vă că stați aici atunci când călătoriți

Rezervat pentru 1 noapte pentru un campervan pe drumul înapoi la Auckland. M-am așteptat să fiu taxat cu 50 de dolari pe baza comentariilor anterioare, dar am fost taxat cu dolari care este șantaj pentru ceea ce este oferit și în comparație cu alte site-uri mai frumoase. Niciun personal pe site și bucătărie și spălătorie doar deschise ore limitate. Poliția locală a condus în jurul site-ului noaptea am fost acolo. Se pare că există oameni care trăiesc acolo. încuietori pentru a intra în blocul toaletelor. nu aș recomanda acest site

Site-ul este foarte prietenos, 25 de dolari pe persoană.
