The management there are fabulous. The shire should be proud of them. Booked for 2 nights, beautiful place, had some great walks the 1st day then the rain came. The place got flooded, and more rain was expected. We got out as it was concerning, as the land is very low and the water doesn’t drain well. Would have stayed the 2nd night but decided it wasn’t safe if the flooding got any worse. The shire need to fix this up and a lot more people would see this beautiful place
Great place to camp.
Not that great ,pretty run down , over price for what you get , did have hot showers and a bbq area , the bonus we had the place all to ourself ,
Gorgeous place for camping, super tranquil and peaceful, good camp kitchen and clean bathrooms, even with free hot shower! Pls bear in mind before you arrive there are no shops or other logistics available.
Very Windy! As goes with the name! Beach wasn’t spectacular but walking distance from camp! Found a great hidden spot up the hill at the back behind campers kitchen for the night! Blocked out most of the wind! Man at reception very welcoming! Amenities perfect for what you pay!
Due to current situation this campground is temporarily closed, information sourced from shire website.
Very quiet and roomy campsite. Make the 6km drive to Pt D’Entreacasteaux to view ‘nature’s window’ and cliffs!
