На сайте есть кухонный укрытие и длинный капельный туалет, а также кнопки, предупреждающие вас о кипячении воды перед питьем. Сайт находится рядом с несколькими приятными тропами, легкой одной к Каури-падениям или более сложной прогулкой до старой древесной мельницы и китобойной станции или трамвайных дорожек. Нет трафика здесь, просто звук птиц и рыб прыжки.

This campsite is not boat access only. We got dropped off at the road and watched the 15 minute track to the camping area. It overlooks the Whangaparapara estuary. It is near the hot springs which we didn't check out as it was a much farther walk than we anticipated. There is a sign that says there is glass in one of the hot springs. Water must be boiled here. One long drop toilet. Thousands of mosquitoes. Be prepared for that. If you walk past the wharf, around the rocks, there is a cave and lots of beautiful crystals. It was the highlight for me. The highlight for my sister was the fishing. Stunning spot. But just be prepared, because it is a mission to walk to the closest town. Locals are awesome though, hitchhiking encouraged.
