We arrived shortly after 5 p.m. (⚠️the access barrier closes at 6 p.m. and opens with a pass), and we were welcomed. The sanitary is very clean, and the shower operates with tokens (to buy at the reception, $1 per shower). We saw no squatters, only people who live here for a long time with their children. Very quiet, kitchen also available (no utensils but plates, slices and a refrigerator). Practical and fair price ✅

We can't understand the negative reviews at all! The campsite is very affordable for Auckland, the facilities are spotlessly clean, and the staff is friendly. Even the long-term campers are nice and helpful. The city center and beautiful beaches are within easy reach. We initially booked just one night, but ended up staying for five days because we enjoyed it so much. The only downside: there's no Wi-Fi or pool.

We originally planned to stay three nights, but quickly changed our minds and decided on just one, which was already too long 🫣. This place is really run-down. The swimming pool is being used for storage. Everything looks neglected. The showers and toilets are clean enough, but not exactly pleasant. We'll make sure we leave as soon as possible tomorrow. It's a real shame because this place has real potential, but not like this.

Det är en konstig plats (trailer park med några permanenta invånare) men faktiskt en pärla nära Auckland. Super rena badrum och kök faciliteter. jag skulle inte rekommendera det för fordon längre än 7m. Och det finns bra öl plats runt hörnet!

Det var ett intressant stopp, men i slutändan mycket positivt. Vi stannade i vår van, 2 personer drivs plats (använde inte ström) för $ 40 / natt + $ 1 per minut dusch. Personalen var alla vänliga, och vi hade inga problem alls med andra i parken - det var mycket tyst. Anläggningarna var super ren och snygg, och igen ingen verkligen använder dem, men vattnet var varmt och allt var rent.

A strange little camping site and I can understand initial reservations but I can’t fault the cleanliness of the bathrooms and kitchen. They were absolutely spotless and constantly cleaned. The staff were friendly and it was lovely to hear ( I think their children) running around and having fun but not until late. It certainly served a purpose as we had to leave for the airport next day which is only 30 mins drive. Exceptionally good value for $42 including showers

Jag bokade detta sista minuten när mina planer gick igenom, men när jag drog in med min camper visste jag att det var ett misstag. jag kan inte säga för mycket eftersom jag slutade köra rakt ut igen, men som en solo resenär kände jag mig inte säker här.

02/27/2024 Vi betalade $40 per natt för 2 personer. Utrymmet är mycket trångt för större fordon. Vanligtvis lite föråldrad och en renovering skulle vara nödvändig. 923 bussen tar dig till centrum av Auckland på cirka 20 minuter.
