Highly recommended. Direct lake view, well equipped kitchen (benches are outside only)

Great facilities and beautiful place on the lake (8 places). A night in mid-April so short stay and very quiet but can imagine that it is an atmospheric park during more crowded periods

Located directly on the lake, open until 8 pm, friendly lady at reception, free hot showers, NZD 26 per person/night, however, many flies in the evening

Nice friendly atmosphere, would recommend, especially as it’s 15 minutes out of Rotorua and reasonably priced compared to the camps in Rotorua. Clean toilets and showers. Well equipt kitchen though many of the pans were very dirty. Not the campsites fault just other campers having no regard for other users, so I’d recommend using your own. There is WiFi but it’s not great kept dropping out every 2 minutes. Lovely views of the lake especially if your lucky to get a lakeside spot.

Körningen upp kände sig lite dodgy i början men bra camping precis vid sjön med trevliga och rena faciliteter. ville ha en plats vid sjön men det var fullt. Efter en no show ägaren kom upp och stötte oss upp. Mycket tankeväckande!

The spot is located northwest of Rotorua in a quiet area right by the lake. We didn’t have a reservation and just drove there, and we were given a spot behind the buildings. The lady at reception was very friendly and gave us tips for the surrounding area. You can easily get into the city by bus. The kitchen is excellent. The washrooms are perfectly adequate, and the showers have good water pressure. We would definitely come back!

Nice lady at the desk. Powered campsite with beautiful lake view. Kitchen was nice. Toilets and showers were sufficient. Price was average. Wifi was not very good

Spent two nights with campervan on a powered site. Clean, quiet, nice place. Service is quick, polite and to the point. Good, clean facilities (warm shower, kitchen with utensils, wifi etc.). Thank you Helen!

Very rude owner, you don't really feel welcome. The site itself is okay, unpowered $52 Lakeview
