Sammantaget var det en anständig plats att bo med grundläggande faciliteter. Vi betalade NZ$40 för två personer för en plats utan ström. Campingplatsen har också ganska många långvariga invånare. Det varma duschsystemet kunde förbättras. Du måste trycka på knappen utanför badrummet för att aktivera det varma vattnet först. Det stängs sedan av automatiskt efter några minuter, så du måste gå ut ur duschen och trycka på den igen. En längre tid med varmt vatten skulle vara bekvämare, särskilt i kallt väder.

After 6 weeks of motorhoming NZ we came across this gem. Bronwyn gave us a lovely welcome and this site is superb. Short walk to the beach and river, with the added bonus of fresh fruit ice cream being sold in the car park. New Zealand you are a wonderful place we will miss you xx Andrea and Paul UK

Friendly and welcoming reception. Very quiet campsite mainly with permanent residents. Clean facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen).

We arrived after 6pm and the office was closed. It was no problem at all to pay the morning after. Really nice staff and clean facilities. Paid 36$ for 2 person.

Dusch, kök och 24 timmar WiFi ingår med priset, 18 NZD per person, vilket vi uppskattade. Det är en kort promenad till stranden där du kan hitta boysenberries och persikor på sidan av vägen. Detta var vår favorit campingplats på South Island på grund av det billiga priset, vänlig personal, vackert läge och faciliteter ingår.

This was fine for a night before we returned our camper. The kitchen/bathroom facilities are new and well kept. However the shower’s are very difficult to regulate the temperature. This is a mobile home community, so it seems weird to be in their space. The bottom end of the campground is super sketchy.

Very friendly staff, close location, facilities are super clean. We would highly recommend this campground.

Niet reserveren via de website, maar gewoon bellen of ze plek hebben. Reuze aardige 'babysitters' 🤭 Ws ouders van de eigenaars. De vader spreekt NL, zijn vrouw gewoon Engels. Fijne camping, relaxe sfeer, met short cut naar de rivier en het strand. Doen !
