The location is really nice, costs the same as a DOC site & I think it’s worth the money - HOWEVER the showers are an absolute rip off, $2/4 min but you wait 2 minutes to get hot water, the sink had better water pressure than the actual showers & as a woman it was a nightmare to wash my hair due to the horrible pressure, paid for 8 min & got maybe 4-5 minutes of hot water and the shower head needed to be held up while showering. The pines is the only spot in the whole site that has signal.

Super easy to get started, i didnt book online but is easy enough to book inside the cafe area. plenty of room as the campground is 1km long. lots of people so is sociable especially around meal times. toilets and showers are clean and easy to access. also a nice walk along the beach in good weather. is close to the road but isn't overly loud

A very beautiful and clean Campground! Toilets and showers very clean. Hot water showers just only for 2$ - so nice! Waking up at this place is very magical. The owner is very friendly and he cars abut the place. We definitely would come back 👍🏽

Loved this spot! My absolute favorite spot on our 3-week adventure. Amazing views of the ocean. Staff at The Store were so friendly. Breakfast and lattes were delicious. We found the shipping container turned lavatories/showers were relatively clean and worked well for us. Highly recommend. The train does make a bit of noise coming through at night. Great location to view the stars.

Härlig utsikt men överprissatta som duschar är inte gratis så du betalar för ingenting effektivt utom tiolets. Det finns ett litet rum där med några kraftpunkter i det om det behövs för att ladda något, skulle det vara bättre om platser var grusade som ganska övergrodd och smutsig när våt. Massor av vägbuller och tåg högt men bara hade 2 i övernattningen där. Det finns ett café 100m men stänger vid 4pm med köket stänger vid 2.30pm. Mycket trevlig mat men personal inte uppmärksam eller super vänlig.

Trevligt ställe precis framför stranden. Waves kinda avbryta bullret från vägen, jag hade verkligen inga problem med det och jag är mycket känslig för buller! Lägrets värd är mycket trevlig och vänlig. Duschar är inte gratis men mycket, mycket trevligt. Det finns ett mycket trevligt café i närheten, men bara öppet till 4 pm. Men enligt min åsikt är denna plats ganska överprissatt : det finns inget kök, ingen skyddad plats att äta och duscharna är inte gratis. Men det finns inget val om du är i detta område och vill camping!
