A truly lovely place, lovingly maintained. It was the cleanest campsite on our trip! There are many permanent campers, but that's not a problem.

Really lovely peaceful and sparkling clean campsite, reasonably priced. Yes, lots of residents but spacious camping spots, lots of individual cabins, kitchen, BBQ area, dated toilets and showers maybe but well maintained so why does that matter? Nice walk to the harbour for a pint in the bar. Perfick!

Inte säker på rymliga, men bekväma utrymmen, faciliteter riktigt gamla, mynt som behövs för tvätt, kallt tvätt endast, torktumlare i andra änden , ingen korg. vänlig dam, anteckningar överallt, men ok, konstig

Facilities are a bit old, but clean and sufficient in number. The camp sites are not really special, but ok. Looks indeed that there are many permanent residents.

Not sure how the comments are all so positive, the vibe of this place is dodgy. There were zero other campers here - just residents, although they kept to themselves. 2 out of the 4 hobs in the kitchen don’t work, there’s also no bins in the kitchen. The toilets weren’t clean, seats were wet. Laundry room okay, very basic. The TV room is a storage room - you can’t go in at all as it’s just full of mattresses and other random bits. Only saviour was the nice lad at reception.

Turned up just as it was getting dark off the ferry. $30 for powered site. Quite a few residents there it seems but made it feel quite homely. The facilities are definitely on the retro style but kinda like it. Bathroom was cold though and couldn’t get any hot shower water. Nice spot for 1 night though. Free WIFI which was great and doesn’t seem to the norm unfortunately at a lot of sites!

Städerskan var så härlig! Hon lånade mig sitt vakuum. Jag bad också trevligt om en utökad utcheckning och fick den. Välsignelse! Jag stannade med min hund och det var bra. Jag blev också fast med min van och kaptenen hjälpte mig ut. Så allt i allt en billigare och mest välkommen vistelse på den långa vägen.

Vi stannade en lång helg men det verkar vara många perm invånare, duschar / toaletter datum men mycket ren och gratis. Mycket tät parkering för campervans. Lovely gentleman serverade oss på incheckning, perm invånare ansluten till kraftlådor när de är utsedda för andra betalda platser så var tvungen att be kontoret att sortera ut det.

Verkligen cool semesterpark! $ 45 för en kraftfull plats. heta duschar, kök och vatten / dumpstation, TV-rum. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. Vissa gäster tält för att stanna ansluten till vattenkranen hela dagen och natten tho.

Bästa stället vi har bott hittills på South Island! Allt är super ren. Köket är välutrustat och personalen är mycket vänlig och välkomnande.
