Vacker plats inte alltför långt från Queenstown med en bra utsikt över sjön. Inte många platta platser och badrummen verkar serveras sällan, men ett utmärkt ställe att campera för natten ändå.

Halv smutsigt badrum, när det regnar blir det lite farligt att stötta över bilen och har få platta utrymmen att parkera.

Stannade här i början av augusti, och fortfarande hade en hel del vagnar. Om du vill ha en av de nivåer platser direkt på stranden, sedan anlända tidigt. Vacker utsikt över sjön. På vägen, men hörde inte något trafikljud. Toaletterna rena, och några telefonsignal. definitivt rekommendera.

På stranden av sjön. Mycket utrymme på vintern. Det finns en ingång och en utgång så det finns inget behov av att vända sig. Var bara försiktig som sjön kan vara mjuk att parkera vilket kommer att skapa ett problem att lämna. Tyst plats 45 minuter från Queenstown. Bra stopp på vägen till Milford Sound.

Great location facing the lake and near Queenstown, lots of space that fills up quickly. Registration on DOC is required. Long drops that smell.

Pulled in here but chose not to stay. It had attracted people that give Freedom Camping a bad name. While the site was less than half full, the rubbish bins were overflowing, the toilets stank (very very badly) & clothes & rubbish was strewn across the site, over trees etc. A real shame that people can't be more respectful because the location is stunning with lots of capacity.

Incredible views over the lake if you get there early enough to park there. We got there a bit before 5pm and it was nearly full. Do people don’t listen to the signs. Good service and quiet. Would defo stay again. Helpful it had bins too!

Beautiful spot with awesome views for a free campsite. Bathrooms were clean (a bit smelly). There was a lot of space when we arrived around 6pm and registered. I had perfectly fine phone service but my boyfriend did not. Would recommend this place for sure.
