Superb walk in. It’s a bit of a less maintained path then the other falls in the area but it made it more of an immersive experience. You need to be nimble though. The falls themselves were great. Smaller in volume of water than the others but no less spectacular. Hard to see the sign from the road so suggest plugging into your GPS just to make sure you don’t drive by it accidentally. Definitely worth a look. Don’t walk on the log, slip and fall in like my husband did 😂

Nice little waterfall. The walk is a short one (15-20 minutes return) and is quite pleasant (even if very muddy). Small bay on the side of the road to park, easy to miss if your not paying attention.

Well worth the stop. Not even 20 mins each way. Low effort high reward!!

What a lovely waterfall with a lovely walk to find it! Met the charming Wayne who built and maintains the track with his friend, Peter. Not an official DOC walk so not signposted in the same way but we used Google Maps and had no issues finding it. Short walk to get there, a bit slippy and had to climb some rocks at the end but nothing too challenging. Definitely worth a visit!

One of my favorite little walks in New Zealand! Interesting the whole way & 1/2 the time the sign says the get there- even in the pouring rain ?

Look out for the small sign, not much parking. Beautiful tranquil walk! would do again!
