We stayed here in Feb 2025 and had a wonderful time. Jane was friendly and welcoming along with the locals in the pub ☺️ the beach is a short wee walk to the campsite ☺️ beautiful scenery and I would highly recommend to any tourist to stop here ☺️

beautiful spot! camp has bathrooms, recycling and a place for your rubbish! aswell as a kitchen and a nice seating area aswell. didn’t use any other amenities so not sure about the rest! showers are $2 for 5 minutes short walk right to the beach i stayed in a non powered site and spots are spaced out nicely so you can have some privacy! the owner came over shortly after i arrived and told me about the camp and was very nice! everything was very clean including the areas to park!

Charming, quiet and peaceful campsite!! Absolutely lovely unpowered sites nestled between trees and bushes, facilities are super clean and spacious (hot showers $2 for 5mins). A short walk to a stunning beach with a historic shipwreck! Lovely sound of the waves from the site, friendly kind owners and a beautiful calm vibe all round! Would recommend to anyone - so worth seeing this area of the beautiful west coast.

Lovely spot, only a couple minutes walk to the beach, plenty of spots and we were able to book online, but seems like you can call up on the day and they should have space. Staff were very friendly. Great kitchen facilities. $2 coin needed for 5 minute hot shower (free cold shower). Few sandflies in evening but not too bad!

11/05/2024 (otillräcklig) bra vistelse på denna campingplats! trevligt rent badrum och duschar, snyggt trimmat gräsmatta perfekt för vårt tält, härlig eldstad för att hålla oss varma på natten. fin och mysig pub över vägen, jag menar vad mer kan du vill ha? tack Jane för grönsakerna!

Fantastisk läger på en vacker strand / flod mun. Massor av öppet utrymme, rena och snygga faciliteter. Nya chefer gör ett fantastiskt jobb. Trä eldade badkar också tillgängliga , kommer att vara tillbaka för en soak

Bra ställe. Vänligt välkomnande. Faciliteter mycket ren. Bra område. Rekommenderas. Men ingen betalning med Visa-kort är möjligt. 20 NZD per person och natt.Showering och tvätt på toppen.

Bra och rent ställe. Rättvis pris för högsäsong. Unpowered 2 vuxna 36$.

Stannade för en natt i regnet. Alla gjorde oss så välkomna och alla faciliteter var otroligt rena och väl underhållna. Tack så mycket för Tony och Di (och pappa) i puben - vilket bra ställe! Tasted whitebait patties (vet inte om whitebait festivalen!) och vi var glada.

Best place ever hosts were amazing thank you will be recommending to friends and family in the future and we will difffenlty will be back
