Du kan lagligt parkera över natten här (enligt Westland Council frihet camping lag) om du är certifierad självsäker (har vatten och toalett, eftersom det inte finns någon där).

At first overlooked the place and drove too far. You can see the ridge from very far away.

The view here was ok but the real amazing part was the drive back into town. Cows photobombing us and coming up to fence and some amazing stops along the way as the fog rolled in at sunset

Nice to drive and see the glacier from far away. Not as dramatic a view as anticipated but still worth the very short detour
