Vi gjorde det idag så det är definitivt öppet - det finns en skylt på parkeringsplatsen som säger hur nära spåret går till glaciären idag (det uppdateras av DOC).
This walk is closed now since 2019 due to flooding. You can only do the Forest Walk but not get any closer to the Glacier. I recommend to check the location of the view point at the DOC since they can move it (depending on the weather conditions) every day.
