Good location bay. Nice place. Not worth it = 25$ unpowered site 1 person + 1$ coin 5 mins hot shower + 5$ internet connection, total 31$ x 1 night where there are other private land campsites that offer same at 20 to 25$ all included. Weak 4G internet, super slow. Good for meditate, though. No utensils in the kitchen to cook. Rubish waste containers has a timining schedule to access ;))) I take my shit, all fine. Reception only open from 2 to 3 & from 5:50 to 7 pm. Check in only allowed at this poor frame. *** I stayed because i was feeling extremely tired + sick from night ferry.

Super spot, avec une vue sur la mer 🌊 Il y a 4 emplacements pour véhicules self contained (bien regarder sur le panneau quelle sont les places autorisées). Il y plusieurs wc, et un très bon réseau. On recommande 🙂

The best site we've stayed at so far! The facilities are great. Hot clean showers and the toilets are the nicest toilets we've had at a campsite yet. The goats are super friendly and love a good ear scratch, so definitely recommend going to say hello to them. Washing machine is 4 dollars and dryer is 6. The only minor thing to note is that the kitchen is small and there's only room for one person to cook at a time. The cooker is an induction job, but all pans are provided in the drawer under the sink. We had no issues cooking at all. The wifi is great. Great location, friendly hosts. Couldn't recommend it more.

Great campsite - would definitely stay again. Fantastic facilities and very clean. Short walk to a bus stop into town and shopping mall close by too with a woolworths. Good value for money and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Christchurch.

My partner and I loved staying here. It was nice and quiet with only 1 other camper and a few people in cabins. The kitchen is huge with lots of fridge and freezer space and is modern and clean. We felt very safe at night. The grounds are kept very tidy and are beautiful. We loved being so close to the ferry over to Whitianga and it was so convenient compared to driving all the way into town. The beaches just outside the grounds are beautiful to explore. Definitely recommend staying here.

The parking spots are very close to the road, we can hear the vehicles passing.

Friendly owner and walking distance to the beach. Small campground with not too much privacy. It's right in a neighborhood so you hear traffic passing by. Very clean and well maintained amenities. Nice hot shower. Spacious camp kitchen with fridge. Laundry coin operated (washer + dryer). Conveniently close to supermarket and town center. Coffee just 2 minutes walking across the road. The pool was also really nice to just relax at the campsite. Paid $45/night with a campervan (powered site + water).

Peaceful campground, fully surrounded by nature. Short walk to the beach through the scrub. No service and dirt road to get there. Amenities were very old, a bit scary in the dark. Camp kitchen has a gas BBQ with coins and picnic tables. Sadly it was pouring rain so not much to do.

Wonderful camping spot, unpowered sites right next to the river. Stayed 2 nights with campervan (2 adults), paid $26/night (October 2026). Clean amenities, there's a washer and dryer coin operated. Small kitchen with kettle, microwave and toaster (no stovetop). Very friendly owner, we arrived after office hours but were warmly welcomed. Spar supermarkt, café and pub right across the street. Would absolutely recommend.

Just finished writing a long review but the spotty wifi cut out and I lost it ☹️. Clean, quiet campsite with a nice outdoor pool and great kids indoor splash park. Expensive at $73. Very pretty on an estuary with lots of birds. We were across from the camp kitchen but a bit of a walk to the toilets/showers. Across the street from some small shops and cafes. Have a bike cleaning station so maybe this is a biking area as well???

Lovely serene place, views were amazing. Toilets well stocked and clean. Few holes in ground, but definitely will be back!

We enjoyed this spot because there is a water spot and public toilets nearby. Also, you can go to the city by foot very easily and even go on a little trail to Moa spot. There is not a lot of spot so you might come early. We stayed on a Tuesday night and weren’t disturbed by the construction site currently in progress in this area. You can stay up to 2 nights.

We stayed for a night at this spot and it was as you can expect : lots of rv coming so you have to be there early. Toilets are ok with hand sanitizing in it. It was a calm place to stay. The lupin river around was not that great but it was ok for a quick walk before hitting the road. We saw rabbits and hedgehogs along the way

Despite the reviews we read, we went to this campsite and we had a great experience. The lady at the front desk was lovely, we had a big green space and weren’t disturbed while it was Halloween and some teenagers had a party on the camp. We had hot water in the shower and kitchen. There is a dump station. So that was all what we needed for the price we paid.

Lovely spot. Great beach across the road with a beach shower. Clean toilet and water/dump station a couple of minutes down the road. Need to be out by 9am but can just move to the daytime spaces. Full up by 6pm.
