2026 yılı sonuna kadar kapalı! 30 kilometre uzunluğundaki bir çamur yolu da oraya götürür.
The camping ground is very spacious and clean. I saw 2 people use tent on the ground here. I think here is a tent friendly camping site. There are sheltered picnic tables for rainy days too. I saw many wallabies eat their dinner at dusk.
Went there just because wanted to check out free fire wood. Drove 30 something km of gravel road in the rainy day. Got there, found no free fire wood. But next day, the park ranger brought lots of good fire wood. No good walking tracks near by. The view of the dam isn't that spectacular compared to many places in Tasmania, but it's very quiet and remote place, gives me a chance to feel satisfaction from not doing anything. Great campground.
Amazing campgroud. Toilets are amazing, you even get some free chopwood. Plenty of space and amazing sights as you hit the gravel road that takes you there (it’s 30 km).
Make sure your parks pass is visible
Superb campsite. Quite remote but stunning surroundings. Clean compost toilets, running water. Very peaceful. Large wombats roam the campground at night! Highly recommended.
Campsite was quiet and well kept. Sadly, most if not all hiking trails are closed due to forest fire damage to the trails that happened earlier this year. Views of the lake were amazing.
Scotts Peak Rd is closed after recent fires so there's no access to this site.
Unfortunately we didn't find any shower as said and the toilets are organic and smelly. There is no view at the lake.
No showers. No mobile reception. Perfect. Pit toilets with poo tickets provided and hand washing sink with running water. Fire wood and rubbish bins. Day shelters for large groups. Sites big enough for vans.
