This campground is amazing! You probably need a 4wd to get there because of the gravel roads, but it’s definitely worth it. We stayed there for 2 nights. There were many Kangaroos and King Parrots next to our car and we saw two Koalas on trees.
Online reservation required. Ok for one night. The sites are small, few spaces between the campers.
Ok for 2wd, some small sections of heavy corrugations on the gravel road, smooths out as you get closer. Exquisite camp site, slept in van with sliding door open all night and did not get one mosquito- Didn’t have light on at all but still amazing.
Booked over the phone with parks Victoria, paid per night. Kangaroos lounging around in a well kept area.
Went here for a day trip to check it out. Which was just as well, because the site is suited for tents only. A caravan wouldn’t fit, of any size. Plenty of green grass, fire pits and resident kangaroos lazing about. Clean drop toilets. Overall a nice place in a tranquil setting but as previously mentioned, don’t bother if you’re planning to tow a van down here.
Absolutely loved this spot! It definitely gets full quickly so you should arrive early. It's a free campsite now. Lots of kangaroos in the evening and early morning which was the highlight for us
Very nice spot! Long drop toilets are quite clean. There are a few fireplaces, most people seem to get the firewood out of the surrounding woods. Be there quite early (about 4pm), it gets full very quick.
Nice spot with dry toilets and tank water. We saw kangoroos :)
It’s a good free campsite. 12 spaces, no flush toilets but they are okay. A water tank with rainwater is there were you can wash your hands or something like that. It’s really nice and when the sun goes down kangaroos came out.
