Is definitely a free camping spot plenty of room all along the river Sensational bird life

Not much to do in Onslow at all or around the area. However, Nice relaxing stop by the river.

Well we came, We saw, We left. 20 km of dirt dusty road, river almost empty. After reading the comments we were so excited to get here, then disappointment

We loved this camp area. So peaceful and scenic. It's not free any more. Only costs $5 a night per vehicle

Love this place. Toilet dump site at the Old Prison ruins in Old Onslow. Also Wifi there

Currently here absolutely fantastic,very quiet. Had some rain 0n the 24th filled the river by a good ft. Road muddy but can easily be accessed. Registered at the shire council if staying for more then 3 day just for safety purpose. They said from 1st june it will be $5 not sure how thats going to work but. Im sure someone will let you know .Until then enjoy the peace and tranquility . Cheers

Spent a long weekend relaxing by the river, amazing bird life. Loved the cattle strolling past in the evenings. Easy drive to Old Onslow and further down the river for some fishing fun.

Serene They are planning on charging $5 per night per vehicle as of June 2018

Absolutely beautiful spot, able to sit back relax and enjoy the scenery.
