We wanted to stay here but when we arrived it looked like an abandoned trailerpark. A lot of old campers with the curtains closed standing side by side. It was raining and we thought it was a bit spookey so did not stay here. We stayed at the campground next to this one (great stay!) And while we stayed there, we saw 2 other vans drive up to the other campground and turn around as well.

We went to the first campsite on this road...Mac Gregor and it was nice! The lake was nice and there are clean toilets. There is no drinking water only rainwater. We walked the track that started 2 km away from the campsite and it was beautiful.

Lovely drive to and location by the lake. Very nice lady on site cleaning the loos but we didn’t need to use them as we are self contained. Not expensive for the location , very quiet, chilled vibe and peaceful and great breakfast on picnic bench overlooking the water. Very easy to get to and so much better than the freedom site on the road just outside Tekapo which looked souless. No issue or even aware of permanent residents who are in a different section. We did have phone signal.

Avoid at all costs! $15 per person for absolutely no services, just a dry toilet with no toilet paper, no water, no showers, no internet connection. It's just a parking lot; the only positive point is the nice view of the small lake.

Very quiet and peacful but not spooky, beautiful view. Basic toilets, no water, some light in the toilets during night. Awesom place when you want get away from the busy Lake Tekapo. No cellular receiption

Tekapo Gölü'nün karışıklığından uzakta kalmak için harika bir yer! Güzel bir gece gökyüzü altında bu muhteşem yerde bir gece geçirdik. Tamamen yalnız kaldık. Sadece 20$ için o kadar huzurluyduk. Onu sevdik! Tuvaletler temiz ve temiz, tuvalet kağıdı ile sağlandı.

Gölün güzel bir manzarası ile güzel bir yer. Diğerleri de belirttiği gibi bu aslında göl McGregor kamp alanı. Site üzerinde birkaç kalıcı karavan ama oldukça düzeyde çamur noktaları ile kampçılar için çok fazla alan. Tuvaletler düşme boşluklar için oldukça iyi ve el temizleyicisi mevcuttur, kendi loo rulo getirmek gerekir. Eğer dürüstlük kutusu için nakit ihtiyacınız olacak, baş başına 10 $ daha iyi değeri var çoğu DOC sitelerinde kaldık ve çok daha güzel imo.

Günün sonunda buraya geldim ve hala çok yer var! Gölün muhteşem manzarası ve geceleri şaşırtıcı yıldızlar! Boşluklar kokulu ve kendi loo rulo ihtiyacınız var. Ama su yıkamak için vb içmek için değil vardır. Kalıcı sakinler var ama onlar kamp alanınızın dışında değil onlara yakın. Her yer büyük bir manzara var çok tavsiye ederim!
