Rất ít địa điểm thực sự được rào cản để cắm trại - và vâng, họ kiểm tra vào buổi tối, vì vậy hãy chắc chắn rằng bạn đang ở bên trong các dòng. Một khi bạn là, đó là tetris campervan: bên cạnh, cửa đến cửa, hít thở bữa tối của nhau. Cơ sở vật chất tồn tại (chúng tôi không điều tra), và có một trạm rác. Bãi biển chính nó thực sự đáng yêu. Tình hình đậu xe? thân mật. 7/10 cuộc sống sardine ven biển.

Good site, toilets OK, facilities OK. Access to the beach. No showers. Be VERY CAREFUL about parking rules, as not all parking spots are for freedom camping and it is not evident when you arrive; look for the posters explaining the rules, there is one near the toilets and dump station. Lots of people got a 400nzd fine during our visit, as the posters are rather difficult to find. Also, larger campers and caravans may be a bit tight in the parking spots.

Room for 10 vans. Caravanners take up two spaces for some selfish reason. Dump station, potable water & toilets here. Don't park outside of signed area as Security comes around & will move you on - at midnight- as they did last night to a few vans. Thanks Waihi/BOP Council for this Freedom Camp !

Be really careful where you park and how you park. It states very clearly on signs to park betwen two green verges but also park within the lines of each space left and right,front and back. If you are too far back or forward in the parking space because of lenght/ poisitoning to get side doors open and closed (as spaces are regular parking size spaces so can be tight) you will be ticketed which is a $400 fine.

Bãi biển cát dài đẹp ngay phía sau ngọn đồi. Khoảng 10 bãi đậu xe với trạm nước thải, sân chơi và nhà vệ sinh.
