We wanted to stay here but when we arrived it looked like an abandoned trailerpark. A lot of old campers with the curtains closed standing side by side. It was raining and we thought it was a bit spookey so did not stay here. We stayed at the campground next to this one (great stay!) And while we stayed there, we saw 2 other vans drive up to the other campground and turn around as well.

We went to the first campsite on this road...Mac Gregor and it was nice! The lake was nice and there are clean toilets. There is no drinking water only rainwater. We walked the track that started 2 km away from the campsite and it was beautiful.

Lovely drive to and location by the lake. Very nice lady on site cleaning the loos but we didn’t need to use them as we are self contained. Not expensive for the location , very quiet, chilled vibe and peaceful and great breakfast on picnic bench overlooking the water. Very easy to get to and so much better than the freedom site on the road just outside Tekapo which looked souless. No issue or even aware of permanent residents who are in a different section. We did have phone signal.

Avoid at all costs! $15 per person for absolutely no services, just a dry toilet with no toilet paper, no water, no showers, no internet connection. It's just a parking lot; the only positive point is the nice view of the small lake.

Very quiet and peacful but not spooky, beautiful view. Basic toilets, no water, some light in the toilets during night. Awesom place when you want get away from the busy Lake Tekapo. No cellular receiption

Nơi tuyệt vời với một cái nhìn tốt đẹp của hồ. Như những người khác đã đề cập đến đây thực sự là hồ McGregor cắm trại. Một vài caravan vĩnh viễn trên trang web nhưng rất nhiều không gian cho người cắm trại với điểm sỏi khá bằng. Nhà vệ sinh là khá tốt cho drop loos và vệ sinh tay có sẵn, bạn cần phải mang lại của riêng bạn loo roll mặc dù. Bạn sẽ cần tiền mặt cho hộp trung thực, tại $ 10 mỗi người nó là giá trị tốt hơn so với hầu hết các trang web DOC chúng tôi đã ở lại và imo tốt hơn nhiều.
