Awesome site with great access to beach and sun set. Max of 2 campers, but doesnt seem like anyone checks - we were more for the night. Toilets 5 min walk away, very nice and clean. Close to road with a fair amount of traffic, but does die down in the evening. Lots of locals stopping for sorter amount of time to walk dogs or enjoy the view.

Maximum of 2 self contained vehicles, although another 2 arrived and didn’t have any issues. Toilets about a 1k walk away and they shut at 8pm in the evening. Felt safe here as a solo traveller, some road noise but to be expected and the view was definitely worth it! Recommend stopping here if visiting Kapiti Island.

Handy spot for a one night stop over. Pulled into here on a very windy night. Toilets nearby. There is a homeless lady that sleeps in her car in the parking lot.

Khung cảnh tuyệt vời nếu mặt trời lặn ra phía sau nếu bạn quay trở lại không gian. rất hạn chế điểm, chỉ có 2 mỗi bãi đậu xe để có được ở đó sớm, mặc dù ba xe tải khác ở lại và dường như là tốt. 10 phút đi bộ đến nhà vệ sinh công cộng, mà đóng cửa tại một số điểm vào buổi tối (có thể 8/9pm?). khu vực yên tĩnh mặc dù, cảm thấy tuyệt đối tốt ở đó.

31 tháng 1 năm 2024 Đã có trên sân từ 3:30 chiều. chỉ có 2 chỗ dành cho người cắm trại. chúng tôi may mắn sử dụng một trong số họ. nhưng có một số người cắm trại ở đây.

Lovely view out to the island in this little car park where freedom camping is permitted! Sign says a max of 2 vans, but we ended up with maybe 5? Hard to know if it's checked as the next park up had at least 5-8 when we arrived at 7pm! Toilets are a walk away by the playground and are locked from about 8pm till 6am in summer. May be flexible though so don't go at 7:59pm! Flat gravel sites with plenty of signal. This bay doesn't have a footpath between you and the view so seems nicer. Keep it clean, keep it free! Great spot. Its 3 parkings with front vieuw of the beach. Nr 3 is the largest. 2 overnight spots avaible, but a lot more vehicles showed up during evening. Toilets 6 minutes walk. Also bbq, shower (cold) and playground. Cafés and restaurants close. Great stay before visiting kapiti island
