** CASH ONLY - there is a BP with cash machine (it charges you) about 3.7km away. Reception is the house on the right as you come up the drive - there wasn’t any one in when I arrived but there were clear instructions on the notice board about what to do - John was super friendly. The facilities are basic, use your own utensils for cooking but the sink for washing up after was greatly appreciated. There are lots of dead bugs but the surfaces are clean and I had hot water for my shower

The best campsite we've had in a long time! And I've been traveling for a while. The house is directly on the right after the entrance. Super nice owner! For $15 you really get more than anywhere else.

Older facility but clean, 15 per person, hot showers included, pleasant atmosphere, after the entrance there is a house where you can pay, large kitchen

Horror camp ground, no one came to collect money, no sign to say manager was away, facilities are dirty, rat Pooh on plates and sink over flowing from other people's dishes, no toilet paper in some toilets. Free washing machine no clothes line, dump station scary same tap to clean canister to fill with fresh water. Not recommend, only if desperate. $10 non power, $15 power

Got a dog? Don't bother ringing to check, these guys definitely don't accept dogs.

Something old and dirty. Many permanent guests. But the best showers and toilet paper in the entire North Island. Owner was super nice
