Brilliant little spot, a bit of a windy/gravelly road to get to it but it’s nice and quiet. Drop toilet is okay. No amazing view but good for a night. Make sure you check your email and keep the code they send you for the padlock

This is a great little hideaway! Eating area, washing up area and a non flush toilet. Great phone reception on NZ 2degrees! There is a gravel track for about 7kms and the roads have a lot of bends but not the worst! Would recommend staying! Lastly the gate is a little annoying I never received the gate code, to unlock the gate so what I did was, book online via Auckland Council website and rang there phone number - 09-301-0101 gave them my confirmation number and they gave me the code!

Zůstali jsme zde na konci května, byli jsme tam jediní. Vzali jsme asi 20 minut dolů bláto / gravel cesty na místo. Skvělé umístění, pokud máte v plánu používat pěší stezky, asi hodinu chůze dolů do Piha, jinak jen malé pole uprostřed nikde. Toaleta čistá a zásobená loo roll. Oni vám e-mailem kód pro bránu vstoupit, je třeba dát zámek trochu wiggle / push otevřít.

V pořádku, pokud máte důvod být tam jinak strávit 44 a jít dolů na kopec do Piha.

Dost pěkné místo na jednu noc, musíte si rezervovat a je zde velmi omezená recepce v táboře a cesta k němu.
