Some great walking tracks from this end of the beach still open; Laird Thompson Track, Te Waha Point Lookout, Whites Beach. Good car park, then short walk along beach, tracks start under trees just before end.

A bit quieter to this end, the main stretch of Piha beach next to Lion Rock can get pretty busy. Still get beautiful black sands at North Piha.
