Great for the inter Island ferries or access to the Queen Charlotte Track. Facilities clean and functional but outdated. Look out for the goats on the cliff above the railway line.

Surprised by the negative comments. The welcome was friendly and the sites are a good size. Amenities are really good: nice hot showers, a large kitchen, and everything is clean. Very quiet at night. Honestly, a perfect place to stay in Picton.

The owner was very rude. When we wanted to check in, he told me that we still had to pay. As we already put our payment details in while booking I was skeptical and said that I wanted to check my banking app first if nothing had been charged (because all the other times I had booked a campsite it was that way). He then responded that we could drive to the next campsite if I didn’t trust him and just walked out of the room. Even though there was nothing charged I found his behavior very rude.

Excellent service. I made a last-minute booking because I was crossing by ferry at the last minute, and they reserved a very comfortable and warm cabin for me. When I called to explain that we would be arriving on the last-minute ferry, they said it was very understandable and not to worry, that they would leave the keys next to the main office. It's also worth mentioning that the showers had wonderfully hot water, the laundry service was spectacular with a washer and dryer, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

Infrastructure is bit old otherwise it was nice place to stay. Wifi was not free. Bathrooms, kitchen, fresh water to refill, waste dump, power site all facilities were good. Beautiful morning view, we enjoyed when train was crossing over.

As already mentioned, the infrastructure is a bit outdated, but everything was very clean. Showers were freshly painted and hot. The kitchen and appliances were clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for two nights for hiking. At €20 per night, it was perfectly fine. Many campsites in Germany cost more.

Min reservation blev bekræftet, en kabine med brusebad / toilet / tv / håndklæder / hårtørrer. Ved ankomsten sagde de, at der var en softwarefejl, kun grundlæggende kabiner var tilgængelige, og softwareproblemerne kunne ikke løses. Dette ser ud til at være en forretningsmodel: et billigt tilbud, og ved ankomsten tilbydes du en kabine med ingenting. Kabinen stank forfærdeligt af stædig cigaretryg, og det fælles badeværelse stank også af cigaretter. Bedre ikke! Ingen god ophold!!! Jeep væk!!!!!!

Godt sted at tilbringe en nat, men ikke mere, lidt forældet infrastruktur og ingen gratis wifi!

vores færge fra den nordlige ø ankom kl. 11:45 og vi ringede i eftermiddag, hvis vi kunne tjekke ind, at sent, sagde de bare at rock op og plukke et sted&betale næste morgen - som fungerede perfekt fint for os, og vi var taknemmelige for en nem 5 minutters kørsel fra færgen. du kan høre toget tidligt om morgenen og bruserne / køkkenet / badeværelset er ret kørt ned, men okay for en nat / færge løsning:)
